What are the sex chromosomes for hermaphrodites?

This questions is obviously a sensitve and kind of harsh to some people, and I totally understand. I apologise if that offends anyone.
But, I'm curious... if girls are XX and guys are XY and then there are the female XO... what are hermaphrodites? And what kind of things happened with the sperm and egg? Were there too many sperm?

Kodakr, google is your friend. Also, ME! Why didn't you ask? Hermaphrodites are XXY - they have an extra chromosome of either sort. Wikipedia has a very informative article on the subject.
